David Hood was born in Three Rivers, Michigan in 1957 and raised in Jasper, Alabama. He attended Walker College where he received his associates of science degree in business in 1977. He attended the University of Montevallo where he received his bachelor’s degree in business in 1979. He attended the University of Alabama School of Law where he earned his juris doctorate degree in 1982.David was admitted to the Alabama State Bar in September of 1982 and is licensed to practice before all Alabama state courts and the U.S. District Courts for the Northern and Middle Districts of Alabama. He is a member of the Alabama State Bar (bankruptcy and commercial law and family law sections) and the Walker County Bar Association.
David’s areas of practice include bankruptcy, banks and banking, business law, business organizations, including corporations, partnerships, and limited liability companies, child support, child custody, commercial law and litigation, consumer finance, creditors’ rights including foreclosures, repossessions, collections, commercial and consumer litigation, divorce, commercial and residential real estate, and wills.
